Grand Cayman

We just spent a wonderful week in Grand Cayman. We left Atlanta last Sunday with fears of flying with three kids but they all did wonderfully. Addison had a couple of crying spells on the way home but we managed. We were just excited that she didn't get motion sickness. Once we arrived in Cayman we had lunch which Uncle Rick cooked and headed out on the boat. At first Ethan was scared of the boat but after a while he lighted up and began to enjoy it. Addison loved the boat and still ask about it now. The kids had the opportunity to swim and play with sting rays and do some snorkeling. Sydney really enjoyed the snorkeling until the day she ran into two 5 foot eels. That sort of scared her and she spent her time on the boat after that. Luckily it was the last day on the boat so she didn't miss much. Grand Cayman is a wonderful island and we were fortunate enough to experience it from a residences point of view instead of a tourist view. (Thank you Rick). The weather and water were really nice and we all had a great trip. See pictures below. We are now planning our next vacation. Hopefully to it will be to Destin with the Lazars.

Looks like fun. Not sure when you are heading to Destin, but we'll be in Pensacola most of July. Let me know if your time corresponds.

I just love the pictures and am glad all turned out well. I only hope that Addison will like the sand by the time we go to Destin.... See ya!
