Crazy Week

This week has been crazy. I have been running errands all week trying to get ready for out trip to Mexico. Jay and I will be leaving March 9th for 3 nights to a resort called the Rosewood Mayakoba. It is business for Jay but hopefully we can get a little R&R time.
Poor Addison has been drug to a million stores and missed several naps. I will have to let her have lots of at home time next week.
Ethan had his first night of practice last night. He loved it and Jay thinks his new coach is going to be fantastic. He really seems to know the sport of soccer. This Saturday is his first game and he is excited. I am glad he has found a sport he really likes.
Sydney has been fighting her asthma all week so hopefully some down time this weekend and lost of rest will nip it in the bud. She has to be well before Granny watches the kids.
Tonight begins our weekend with dinner with the neighbors.

More Winter Break

The rest of the winter break just flew by. We had a friend day on Tuesday were each of the kids had a friend over to play for the day. On Wednesday we went to Dearing (a little town outside of Augusta) to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We had a wonderful visit. The kids played outside all day. They looked for arrow heads, played in the dirt, and walked the trails in the woods. It is a great place to go for fresh air. I think we might spend a lot of time visiting them. Friday was spent playing at home and resting.
Monday is back to school for the kids and we have a very busy week ahead of us. Ethan begins soccer practice this week and Sydney starts practicing for the Spring musical. I am glad we spent some time resting over the weekend.

Winter break-Day one

Today was the first day of winter break. Things went really well. I talked the kids into going to the gym with the promise of a shake from Shake-By-Lake (Herbalife). The kids love them and they are good for them. Then we came home so Addison could nap. After her nap we made a trip to the toy store. Thanks to Granny for sending gift cards to the kids. The kids and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at chili's. Don't tell anyone but we split a dessert. Hopefully the rest of the week will be just as pleasant.

Valentines Day

What an exciting day. The kids were thrilled to wake up to presents. Ethan got a set of handcuffs, Sydney got a magic eight ball, and Addison got a puzzle. After the two older kids went to school Addison had her 18 month check up at the doctors office. Everything went well except her height remained the same from her 15 month check up. She is now in the 25-50% where she has always been in the 75-90%. She needs to start getting some veggies.
In the afternoon Ethan had a party at school. The kids did crafts and had snack. It was fun. I think Addison was the hit of the party though. All the kids keep wanting to hold her and play with her. Man was she exhaused last night.
Unfortuantely once you hit 3rd grade there are no more parties expect at Christmas. Sydney did get to exchange Valentines. So last night we had to go through all the candy and cards the kids received.

Saturday

Today started really earlier with Ethan having a basketball game at 8am. It was the last one of the season and he did fairly well. He received a really big trophy. We have to find somewhere to put it in his room.

Sydney spent the afternoon with her friend Gracie. The girls had a red carpet birthday party to attend that evening. The girls were so cute.
